The Liverpool Bandstand in Williamson Square is set to host another season in the sun.
Open Culture is once again signing up musicians, singers, choirs, bands and performers of all ages and genres to perform on the bandstand.
The programme in Williamson Square will run 12.30pm-6pm from Thursday to Saturday from August 8 to August 31, including Bank Holiday Monday, August 26.
The Cavern are programming a special musical celebration on the final day at the Bandstand, which can be used any day of the week by buskers visiting the city centre.
The summer programme last year, which was launched by legendary comedian Ken Dodd, featured 70 different acts and created a 34% rise in footfall to the square.
The pop-up bandstand, which measures 13ft high and 18ft wide and features seating for the public, was commissioned by City Central BID to run in Liverpool’s historic Williamson Square as a platform to showcase local talent.
Ged Gibbons, Chief Executive of City Central BID, said: ‘’We wanted this stage to be a showcase for our culture and give people a chance to sit back, unwind and enjoy some of the finest talents this city has to offer.’’
The programmed performances will be listed each week on the City Central BID and Open Culture websites.
